Admission rates at Ivy League schools are falling sharply

It’s harder than ever to get into an Ivy League school, and the trend is only likely to get worse, according to data on admissions statistics by IvyCoach.

As the chart above by Dadaviz’s Jishai Evers shows, Cornell, the Ivy League school with the highest acceptance rate, went from accepting about a third of applicants in 2007 to less than 20 percent today. Harvard, the most competitive of the Ivys, went from accepting almost 10 percent to about 6 percent in the same time period.
